What type of butt would be paired with a ludwig super classic strainer and would they have extended snare wires?

TWO butts were offered by WFL/Ludwig for the Super Classic strainer: The P88, which IS the extended snare version... and the P32 which is the stamped/pinch version that utilizes standard length wires. The issue is going to be where are the holes located on your shell? THAT will automatically dictate what butt to use. If this is a "project" that you are building, the P32 stamped butt is probably the best and easiest way as the P88 is near impossible to find.
