Yes, and you first see the baseball bat muffler pictured on the "Super Classic" outfit in the 1964 Ludwig Catalog...

The picture in the catalog is my exact kit, although mine are dated March 12, 1965 other than that, ditto! I'm loving it!

My Gold Sparkle Hollywood kit is identical to the one shown on the catalog page. The shells are stamped 11/13/1963 and they all have baseball bat mufflers.

According to the Ludwig book, baseball bat mufflers ran from 1961-1968 with the pads changing from red to white in 1964.

Ok, so mine are Mar. 65 with white pads but the lug washers on the inside of all three have a copper color to them although they are not 100% copper (some had rust) they still look good. Anyone have an idea about those? When did Ludwig stop the copper washers? Just wondering.
