An early 80s rhombus badge hammered 6.5 bronze snare, or a 70s rhombus 5.5 ludwig black beauty, what would be the best investment guys????

I would go with the black beauty. I think in this case it will be the more valuable of the two. :2Cents:

I think the hammered bronze snare would be more rare, but the black beauty would be worth more. Its more a matter of demand, rather than supply in this case. However, with that said, I've always been a fan of the bronze shell drums over the brass ones. x-mas3

I would also consider the shell depth as well, I think the 6.5 are more popular and would be easier to turnover???

As an investment it depends on your buy price. Buy low and sell high = good investment. Both of those are sought after and collectable, and would certainly hold or increase their value.
