I don't like them but i miss to many licks with just one bass drum any one have a good one for sale or trade? and who can tell me all about do's and don't I have never played one is there lag on the slave?

Mike, with a good pedal the only lag will be with your own leg until you get it in shape to play, in my experience. They can be a lot of fun.

Agreed. I use the DW series pedals and they work great. If you use impact pads on your kick head you will either need two or one of the double wide pads.

I use a DW 5000AD3. Now, I'm no Virg Donati, but a double-pedal IS fun to play. The DW has zero lag and precise action, as do, I would think, many of the top brand pedals. You can find DW5000's used for $150 and up, maybe less, now.
Be interesting to see see what you get.
