Those CL drums are from the Island Music era, 87-90

It is unknown what Joe Chen might do with Rogers at this time.

At least Yamaha managed to put out some student level sets under the "Rogers" moniker and the R-360 and R-380 were fairly decent stuff. Now what Tama did with Camco? That is totally repulsive.

So to wrap up Creighton's initial question, it appears:

Tama owns Camco

Gretsch owns Leedy

Gibson owns Slingerland

Joe Chen owns Rogers

Jeremy Esposito owns Walberg & Auge

So who's the legal owner of the WFL logo and moniker?

Trixon was owned by Karl Heinz Weimer and is now owned by Jim Laabs--which explains those modern Trixons that show up on ebay with only the badge in common.

Doesn't William F Ludwig III own the WFL name?????

One would think so, but didn't he have to use WFL because he sold Ludwig, his own name? If he sold Ludwig, he could have sold WFL also.
