Could also be that Craigslist has become overrun with bots looking for emails addresses etc.
Why has the Ludwig market slowed down all of a sudden!? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Drums are, with exceptions, a higher ticket item than guitars, but not as high as keyboards. Drummers are usually broke the day after payday. LOL There's not a lot of work for musicians in general and the economy is slow, so that's why the market is dried up.As for Ebay delays in payment, it's part of that "pay later" thing they have going on for buyers. Payment can take up to a month depending on shipping time and when the buyer posts feedback. Once feedback is posted the money is usually released.
I'm wondering how much longer the enconomy will be in the tank, I mean, isn't four plus years long enough?
As long as we're bashing ebay, I'll add my:2Cents:. Everytime I've sold something on ebay, I've had to call them to have my money realeased, they say they have to wait at least two days after the buyer receives the merchandise, even if he left positive feedback.
I once had a guy try to return a near mint 8x12 Ludwig bop tom that I sold for $250, because he claimed one of the tension rods wasn't original. I clearly stated no refunds, but ebay reimbursed him his money, he kept the tom and I got a bill from ebay, which I had to pay to keep my account open.
I can understand giving a refund if the drum had a crack or some other major flaw that I was not aware of, but a tension rod?
I absolutely hate selling on ebay.

That's insane! So the guy got his money back AND kept the drum?! In my books that's theft. Can you protest that?

Well, I don't know for certain that he got to kept the tom, but I know it was never returned to me. Maybe ebay kept it and resold it somewhere, either way, someone got a free tom. Ebay is set up for buyers, it use to be the other way around, but I guess too many scammers out there were not sending merchandise after receiving money or were sending faulty merchadise, they basically screwed it up for the honest sellers.

So you didn't get the tom back and you had to refund the money? So basically had to give away a drum?
