Wayne: thanks for the gauge and length specs. I assume it is an uncoated stainless steel wire? One last question: where exactly is the tag mounted on the Dyna? Pics if possible. Thanks again.

Hi Mike, the wire isn`t bright and shiney so it must be an uncoated stainless wire as you said.I`m not a wire expert but hope these pix help, sorry about the pic quality-my camera isn`t very good.
Mike,as i remember, the Dyna tag was located on a batter side tension rod on either side of the throw.Hope this helps.

I have always prided myself in being a stickler for detail and a bit of a perfectionist, but you guys make me look like a rank amateur! You guys fussing over wire guage, length and which way the twist goes makes me think of that Honeymooners episode where Norton says to Kramden:
"It's in the small details, Ralphie boy, the small details!"
I respect your respect for details! :p

Man, Talk about a bunch of picky ladies....hahahaha hahahaha
Wayne: thanks for the "picky" details. Might as well put the tag in the right spot since it's such a splendid repro!
Picky Pickins
Details it is. Great that with everyone's help the tags will get installed close to factory.
