Saw this Dynasonic on ebay and noted a few things: top hoop and tension rods not original, but... is it just me, or does it look like there are snare beds on this shell? Notice how the seller doesn't really say much about the drum?

I agree. That drum does have snare beds. It is pretty clear actually.

I think this is one effed up drum. Possibly fake. You do not have phillips screws on a Dynasonic oval badge in 1967. I would not touch this with a ten foot pole. I have asked questions about this drum to the seller and never received a reply. I have questioned this drum on other sites and did not get much response.
If you want a REAL Dynasonic, buy one from someone else. I do not believe this one has adeqate provenance to be considered genuine.
