Hi All -
I'm no Rogers expert but there is a kit on Craigslist - Baltimore - XP8's - triple mounted toms,floor tom and bass in great shape - for $350?!
Is he crazy,desperate? I've always heard great things about these kits. Advice?

I just checked out the sold listings on Ebay. Two have sold recently; one for $355 and the other for $799. Apparently these were Rogers last era of quality drums made from late 70s to early 80s... this according to the ebay posts (im no rogers expert, by any means)... XP stands for "extra projection" and the 8 stands for number of plys of maple. Offer him $300 and see if he bites!

While you were at it, you also should have picked up the Ludwig 1970s Black Beauty for 400 bucks the other guy was selling.
