You guys can't see a great deal when it's right in front of you in black & white:confused:

I've bought stuff off you before and I have no problem with ya. Everything went smooth etc, but word to the wise... Criticizing your potential customers is not a good way to get a sale.

A quote from the drum shop DCP....

"Every year, there are new buzz words and catch phrases that drum manufacturers use to make consumers think that the sound of drums is “changed forever” or will “never be the same.” However, as a drum dealer who rents out equipment, one thing I have noticed is that when touring professionals, drummers who MAKE A LIVING PLAYING DRUMS need to rent equipment, their top request is the YAMAHA RECORDING CUSTOM. When I talk to studio owners who need a kit for their studio, a kit to MAKE MUSIC on, their top request is the YAMAHA RECORDING CUSTOM. These drums just HAVE IT. And they have for decades. This is now a historical series that is still available, as elegant, as functional, and in the same echelon as the Ludwig Classic Maple or Legacy, or Gretsch USA Custom. These are professional level drums for the drummer who demands top sound and performance."

I need to move these to buy a wmp DW kit, so I'll lower the price to $1,000 shipped. These are some of the best drums ever made, Steve Gadd still plays these drums. I saw the reissue RC's selling for over $3,000, these are the real deal! Someone really needs to jump on these.

Since you've posted on your own For Sale thread 3 times in 6 days, you definitely seem motivated to sell these. I'm wondering why you dont just put these up on ebay and let them go for whatever they get bid up to. If you need a certain amount out of them you can set a reserve.

It's just a thought, as I'm sure a Vintage Drum Forum isn't the easiest place in the world to find a buyer for a 1980s drum set.

I don't do ebay, too many fees. I would also sell the 12,14,20 for $950 shipped, thanks.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
