I really like the piece of duct tape on the inside of the shell stamped with the date of manufacture. How innovative Slingerland was! I think I'll do this with my Dynasonics to settle any future debate on when they were made. :D

That model is so rare, it never existed! Poor guy. I bet he got duped into buying it. Full dress MIJ! HAAAAAAA!!!!!!.

Wow, it IS really rare; using those MIJ/Taiwan lugs that weren't around until the late 70's! Slingerland was genius to use those before they even existed!

That also must be a very rare, vertical grade dark maple. Probably from a single tree on a centuries old farm on federally protected land. And don't forget the champagne sparkle triangles. That was gold melted down from the famous yellow brick road in "The Wizard Of Oz" and this particular model featured some of Toto's dog hair imbedded in the wrap. This is an absolute steal at $1! Oops I mean $100!

  • 1964-1966 Rogers 9x13 rack tom in silver sparkle. Beavertail lugs, flat grey Cleveland tag interior
  • 1964-1966 Rogers 22 OR 24x14 bass drum in silver sparkle. Beavertail lugs, flat grey Cleveland tag interior
  • 1959 Rogers Holiday 5x14 snare drum in blue sparkle. Serial number #13382. Large double sided bread and butter lugs. Part of my kit that was split up before I purchased it. Bring the snare home!
