I have a 20" ping and it is a really great cymbal... Cutting bell, excellent stick and just enough wash that never gets out of control.

It is a strict ride however; not intended for crashing.

I love mine on the blue kit where I only use it as a ride.

This is a sweet deal if you want that classic Neil Peart ride sound.

For the record, I'm the guy in Canada originally referred to above.

I think most of the members would approve of me being cautious about sending money orders around without any security. The seller does not have a PayPall account. The 50% offer was my attempt to share the risk. 50% of the total including shipping, and the 50% balance paid when I received the cymbal. Finally I wasn't feeling very confident about the deal so it never happened. A little instinct goes a long way when it comes to keeping your money in your pocket.

The funny thing is, all the while this was going on, I was reading stories here on VDF about guys who got burnt sending money orders blindly.

No offence to the would be seller.
