In case you didn't notice John, that's a stick saver rim so I don't know if it will work with your project.
Hemi - just got off the phone with the guy (seems very nice,) and he's going to hold it for me until tomorrow (when I get paid and can actually pay for it! lol) which is a really nice accommodation. Thank you for the heads up. It's not an easy hoop to find, but 'with a little help from my friends,' it's a piece of cake.

Your very welcome. That rim has been up for quite some time. I've thought about it for a project of mine but I'd rather have a 10 hole COB sticksaver. I'm happy for you that I didn't buy it. Can't wait to see some pics when you're done with it.
Thanks Hemi. The ebay photo only shows one side of the rim, I'm hoping it's clean and not badly pitted. It'll at least allow me to play the drum. If I need to replace it, I'll have plenty of time to look around, but at least the drum will get used in the meantime. Hey, maybe it's a nice one! I'll let you know.

I have the same hoop in excellent condition if it turns out you need one.
I went into my local "Mom & Pop" store to see if I could find one for you John. They had tons of old hoops hanging on the wall, but none of what you are in need of, sorry.

No secret here, I'm talking about "Bellflower Music". They've been around forever. The owner, "Ruth" does collect drums, and has several vintage drums that are "not for sale", and are display only. I live in Bellflower, but am in your neck of the woods alot Aaron.
