Well it should be a solid shell with rings, Mahogany or Walnut(yours look walnut) with Nickle plated trim. A L&L version of a wood
Professional. Went 8 lugs in 23, goes back to 1918 and I believe the same is done with the BD. Is it a solid shell with rings ?
Now yours looks like it may have a top finish on the trim, Does it ?
You did a great job on the shells.
It may have come as a pair sold, but I didn`t look in the cat. yet.
I think the badge says early 20`s.
Others here would know more.

Great information - I appreciate it Oddball. I will check on the shells when I go home (the bass drum looked to be a solid shell as well).
Has anyone used a brass wire brush to clean nickel tension rods? Going to go through the hardware today. It looked to be nickel plated brass.
All cleaned up - what are these drums worth? I have see the snare for around $800 and the bass drum for around $400. Would $1,200 be around what they are worth as a pair? Not selling -would just love to know.
It also came with an old Zildjian with an odd signature on it.
