My 1966 Slingy set with 22-16-13-matching six lugger Radio King Student snare is a terrific drum set.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Here's the little brother Slingy drum set that I picked up a few years ago from a guy's non climate controlled storage shed. The 14x20" bass drum, 8x12" tom, and 14x14" floor tom were filthy, but cleaned up very nicely. The white color bands were the horrible White Sparkle that Slingerland offered for a few years. The Blue and Red Glass Glitter bands look good as new after the clean up. The white was all discolored, and the plies were delaminated. I stripped off the horrible White Sarkle, and replaced those bands with vintage White Marine Pearl wrap. This little drum set will probably be a forever keeper.
