1965 LUDWIG Blue Marine Pearl . . .good price? Last viewed: 0 seconds ago

Hi all,

I'm new to vintage drums and was hoping to get some advice on a kit. I really like these old ludwigs but i have no clue if this price is fair or not. Seems a bit high to me, but I can't find any sort of listing for similar kits and what they normally sell for . . .Asking price here is $2700.

Here are the specs:

"Beautiful Vintage 1965 Ludwig Blue Marine Pearl Drum Set. This set includes 13 X 9 Rack Tom, 16 X 16 Floor Tom,

22 X 14 Bass Drum and 14 X 5 Jazz Festival Snare Drum. All drums are original wrap and hardware with little pitting. There are no cracks or extra holes. This set is almost perfect and is a collectors dream but for the player they sound amazing."

If I wanna spend alot on a kit, I would like to see if there is pillow damage on the bottom of the BD. I think I see one in their !i Leaveing pillows/blankets ect. when you`re not playing it is not a good thing !i

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

Very nice. Subtract $1200 and you have yourself a deal.

Good Luck.

2700 is too high, the set w/o snare does not look for 1000, maybe snare alone can be worth 300-400.

So price 1200 is good offer.

This color in this condition is very hard to come by as is all the hardware with the jazz festival I would price it at $1600.00.

that is correct to 1200.00. you need to look at the bass drum as mentioned to make sure no ply damage has occurred. that is all repairable but will affect your offer price. try a $1200.00 offer. the $1600.00 price I gave is an ebay sale price not a street price.

Maybe to thw seller they're worth 2700 but to the rest of the world no more than 1500 max maybe evn lower in this economy. Another delusional uneducated seller.
