I agree with the others. At that pricing you really want to make sure everything is correct. The serial numbers should be reasonably close. The bass and both toms should have an ink stamp date inside the shell. Dates should be reasonably close. Does the rack tom have a badge? Badges were not put on toms until June '66 so expect a date after that for the floor tom. Floor tom legs should be straight with wing nuts. Inside of shells should be clear maple till October '66 when they were stained a weak chocolate milk color. Inspect all drums bearing edges and check for "out of round". All the hoops should be COB. The snare should be COB. Easy to check, should NOT be magnetic. Snare strainer looks correct. The stands etc. look correct but not a lot of value there unfortunately. Cool to have all those original pieces though. Tempo King bass pedal looks nice. Good luck and let us know what you find.

There are a lot very appealing things about that kit. A little jazz kit from 1966 is a cool thing to have. Maybe not 2K worth of cool... but still cool. :)

I can't get 850 for my wmp andbtherevvery noce
April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

The Gene Krupa COB snare looks all original without any dents. It should clean up to near mint. With stand and case $250 right there. Kit cleaned and polished with no issues might get $1000. $900 is all the money as it sets. Will have a killer sound with a 20" and GK.
