One of these?

Oh yes,... gorgeous !

I understood the Blue Olive Black Beauties were available only for 3 years and I guess the minority of them would be Super Sensitives. Taking into account the quite comprehensive shell-manufacturing method, would anybody have an idea how many of them were produced ?

Hey Stedi, congrats on the very beautiful Ludwig snare. I have yet to play with a super sensative drum, looks interesting.

John, thanks again for the part.

It took me a while to have it installed. Apparently the strainer mechanism must have taken quite a hit. As a result the snares on one side din't touch the head.

Even lifting or lowering the whole strainer block, didn't resolve the problem. In stead of fixing it, the previous owner had the hole drilled wider and modified the cam slide.

I gently bended the mechanism back into its original position and replaced the cam slide and strainer arm.

I read your post carefully where you explained in detail how the adjust and fine-tune a super sensitive Ludwig drum.

It's back in shape and sounds incredible.

Thanks !!!

Stunning! I bet it sounds killer. What did you use to polish the shell?

Water, soap, metal polish,... that's it.

Past weekend I took it in the recording studio with my La Camco's,...

Only 4 mics,... best sounding drum kit on the planet !
