The LM 400 snare has pitting on the chrome not a COB, Ludalloy.
50's WFL Ludwig gold sparkle kit Last viewed: 5 hours ago
It is hard to tell from photos.
The pitting to the right of the badge in the last photo looks like it might be just the reflection of the sparkle of the rack tom.
We can't know for sure, we don't have the drum in hand.
Odds are greatly in favor of Ludalloy.
Prices fluctuate. Vintagemore2000's set gained $100 in the last couple hours!
Hopefully he can take a joke.

Matt I had to go back and check my paypal account statement that is what my kit sold for. My canister throne sold for 650.00 by it's self. also you are correct it does look to be a reflection of the wrap, we will never have the drum in hand unless we are going to the Netherlands. :)
No offense meant. Just some light hearted joking between members.
With as many posts as you have, I do not doubt your drum knowledge, and I am jealous of your WFL kit!
That is without a doubt a WFL set. It is also gold sparkle that has yes, evenly faded. Those spring loaded legs, placement of the rail and cymbal mount are definetly WFL trademarks. Judging by the presence of a muffler I am going to guess late 50's.
WFL drums started getting a date stamp around 1955 and it will be in red ink. Sometimes it can be hard to read against the inside African mahogany shell. Sometimes you have to look close and a lot of times the stamp can be one panel away from the vent hole.
Late 50's WFL drums also read WFL DRUMS on the badge with the address below. The badge prior to that reads WFL DRUM CO with the address below. I think this badge was used until 1956 and they switched to the WFL DRUMS badge around 1957. If I were to guess I might say that this set is prob 1957-58. Od course the supra is prob mid 60's with some 60's hardware. Looks like a great set! Good luck and let us know what you find.
