'60s Wooden Dynasonic missing its paper tag. Last viewed: 57 seconds ago

You should send some photos and info on this snare to Harry Cangany on Facebook. I believe he is currently trying to compile/compare detailed information on wooden Dynasonics. Very nice drum.

Thanks for the reply. I sent him some photos and offered to tell him as much as I know about the drum. I'll probably put it up on ebay in the next day or two.

Glad you like the drum.

Nice drum, looks like silver sparkle (glitter) to me.

Sometimes I also think it's silver, sometimes gold, and sometimes champagne. When I advertise it, I want to be able to describe it to my best ability.

Thanks for chiming in.

Stephen... words cannot describe that wooden dyna so i won`t even try.My 67`Pink Champaigne Sparkle set that i used for 17 yrs. darkened over that period from the original wrap, and i know that as i`ve got some toms from that same period that i only used for a yr and there still factory "Pink Champaigne" so that gives me a pretty good read on your wrap on the dyna.Looks to be Pink to me in the original factory wrap with little to no fade at all.If i`m right you`ve got one of the best preserved "Pink Champaigne dynas ever and for your sake,i do hope i`m correct..

Thank you for the kind words and information. Are you saying that if it was Pink Champagne it would perhaps be more valuable? I'm not going to be greedy, but I do want to get as much out of the drum as I can. It's a very well-preserved drum; that's why I bought it.

That's a great idea; thanks very much. There's a reason that you're the Rogers expert around here.

Let us know what you find under a lug or the butt. That would be great to find little to no fade on your wrap. Good luck and that is a beautiful drum!

Yes, I'll take the butt off and then take pics, and then maybe you guys can tell me what you think.

Thanks for writing.
