Several manufacturers sell some neat reso mesh heads if your interested. That way, you get the full reso head look but not the reso head effect.

Have you ever thought about finishing those toms out for resos? Ludwig usually cut the bearing edge on the concert toms. It's something to think about. I've got some extra lugs and such to help you out if you decide to go down that road.

thanks roger, my neck of the woods? whats your 20? yes i have thought of setting up the other toms for reso's i'm not to hip on loosing any of the value of the drums. alto i like being able to tune up the bottoms. my gretch set is so easy to keep in check(once you figgure out a good head combo).

Hot springs village. It's the largest gated community in North America. 10 golf courses, 10 lakes, our own police and fire departments, our own medical facilities, miles and miles of walking trails ... LOTS of retired people. We even have our own water reservoir and sewage treatment. Pretty cool place. Houses range from about 70g to several million. There is an amazing amount of notable people retired here. Software, NASA, oil, television, computers, engineers, musicians, etc. ... more CEO's than you can spit at. Mind blowing amount of people that I've read about in my life and then met here.
