You are very welcome. Something told me to check the vsd before going to bed. Was exhausted from manic-ly working on drums all day yest. grieving over Joe Gildays passing. Had the day off and needed to stay busy. Me and my pal Jeff used to go to his drum shows on a regular basis. There was a thread about him posted in the morning on the dfo. Very sad. I passed the link over to my pal Jeff C. who used to take the road trip to the shows with me. He is a Rogers nut too but doesn't go on any of the forums. A quiet Rogers collector/player that I've known most of my life. He holds most of my drum collection that I let go over the years. I get visitation rights. lol. Anyway...

Glad I checked the forum last night. Joe spoke to us in his patent text! I will go vote in your other thread now.

Thanks, Gary

I like JBT-rod.

That could get confusing as the earlier bow ties were his(JBT) as well. There was no patent found/filed for that design.

I'm like, the opposite of "the gods", especially when it comes to Rogers, but I think something like "wing" or "tympani" might stick, given that "faucet" and "bowtie" are simple visual references.

Also. for the life of me, I *cannot find* the poll....where did it go?

Mitch!

I removed it as there were some VIEWS, but no one actually voted.. and .. this thread was where all the action was/is anyway! I don't know that the actual VOTE matters at this point. Wayne's post got the conversation going though, and THAT was/is a good thing!

I've always referred to them as either "bowtie t's", or "later t's".
