A Poll To Name Rogers T-Rods Last viewed: 1 minute ago

These kinds of "nicknames" generally evolve organically over time - some one calls it and it just sticks. I'm surprised this hasn't happened in this case given the time frame [long].

With Ludwig it's either "faucet" or "classic" is that right? What about Gretsch and Slingerland?

Good point DownTownFarmer,i don`t know about the Gretch or Slingerland T-Rods but sure hope we can permanently name the Rogers ones. But as you say...maybe that name will evolve over time.

yea, I like CBS T-Rods.

If we start calling them that, then, every time it gets mentioned, it will help to straighten out the urban legend that CBS ownership started with the Big R era. I have always liked these T Rods. But then, I like those little faucet handles too. They mark the end of an era and the beginning of a new one filled with the hope of conquest. it is just too bad the idiots running the show did not have the same vision for success that preceeded their ownership.
