Your attention please.

I regret having to have to do this but I feel that I must share this information with you all.

DO NOT do any business or enter into any contractual relation ship with:

MIKEY777, aka: ken ahl, aka: mike ahl.

I have filed a dispute with pay pal and have contacted visa to arrange a refund pertaining to a transaction with this individual. More actions are to follow.

On March 10th, I sent $51 USD to this person in payment for 12 Sonor teardrop lugs, that HE approached me about buying after replying to a "wanted to buy" post on this site.

He was VERY punctual about sending the invoice but since I immediately paid it, I have received NO GOODS and have not been able to make any kind of contact with this person, even after repeated messages to his inbox on this site(which is full......of messages from disgruntled people no doubt), and tracking down and repeatedly calling his home phone# (which he doesn't answer).

After further investigation, I have discovered that many have had problems with this individual in the past.

Ebay has also suspended service to this person due to transaction disputes.

I should have done my home work.

Do not think as I did, that because some one has "vintage drum guru" next to their name, that they won't rip you off. It is no guarantee of anything except that the person has made alot of posts.

Do yourself a favor, save your money and your misery and pass on this guy.

Even if some how you do eventually get your goods, you will be so frustrated with the while thing, you will get no enjoyment from your purchase.

Buyer beware. Don't say you weren't warned.

Sorry for your troubles. Yes homework is a must when dealing on the Web.

I believe that this particular seller has been involved in moving from 1 place to another and is having some difficultys reaching out to people. Give it a few more days and see what happens. I have dealt with this seller a few years back and went thru the same process, but he finally came through after a few months.

After "A FEW MONTHS!!!!????"

You gotta be kindding.

That IS NOT how business is done.

Pffft.....send yer $$$ and hope for this best. THAT'S BULL****!!!

This person knew, when he took my money, that I wouldn't see my parts or my money for a long time, IF EVER.

That is FRAUD! and it is something every buyer/seller on this site should be concerned about.

I made EVERY effort to contact this person and resolve this issue.

Way more effort than any one should have to make on a routine deal.

I've done hundreds of on line transactions and never had anything like this.

BAD BUSINESS and a VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.

That is FRAUD! and it makes every seller on this site look BAD.

No. It doesn't. This thread reflects upon you and the deal reflects upon Mikey. That's all there is to it.

Yes you are right, I was mighty ****ed myself. But I had the patience to endure, even while others were damning this guy to hell. But like you said earlier,do your homework before hand. There are plenty of threads about this EXACT situation with this seller. It seems never ending. Don't blow off the other guys here because of one bad egg, just DO YOUR HOMEWORK, like you now know.Start with a search of the forum of "KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH" I think it is .Then read the forum posts of "SELLER FEEDBACK". I bet someone will jump in and help you out. I wish I could but I don't deal in Sonor.

I hope it resolves to the best........

I was gonna let this go but then I figured maybe it would help someone out in the future.

I also had trouble with this seller. I tried emails, PM's etc but nothing was answered. Yet, he posted almost everyday. I finally got the wrong parts after many months of waiting. I shipped stuff back at my own expense and never rec'd the correct part or refund.

After about 8 months or so, I started a thread and it got locked after a few days. Shortly thereafter the feedback thread was started and I thought he would at least get back on the correct path. He started selling again and here we are.

I don't wish any bad feelings toward this person but no one deserves to get ripped off either. When I posted my thread, I rec'd PM's thanking me for doing it. One person told me that they got taken for a pretty large sum of money.

All I can say is good for you in doing the paypal dispute thing. Good luck!

You would think with him having 500 drums sets, and 600 cymbals (cough cough) ,he wouldn't have to rip people off for small amounts of $,but I guess so...:2Cents:

This is one of those no-win situations. Say you get the mods to ban the guy from selling here as Mikey777. All he, or anyone else has to do is; reregister under a new/different name and life goes on.

The solution is simple... stop sending him your money! See? Problem solved!!!

Caveat Emptor...

Too many great drums to list here!
