Let me take a second to Thank everyone for the input.Group Hug

I'm now glad I took the heads off and cleaned these up. As mentioned earlier, dust does hold moisture. There were some balls of dust here and there that were beginning to form pits of rust. Had the heads not been removed, it could have gotten much worse. There was even a dead fly inside the 12" tom! Wonder how long that was there? Could have dated back to the 60's!Laughing H

Can't wait to get some good shots of these for you guys following this thread, will get them up as soon as possible.

Ah, well, these will do for now. :) Awesome! They look more aqua than they do on the first page. The accuracy of sunlight?

Well, I was going to take them outside and take the pictures, but it was pretty cold this morning. I've seen that kind of temperature change do serious damage to wraps before, so I took the pics inside in my dining room next to the sliding glass door. Still not enough light really.

Can't say enough how clean these are. Sure they're not perfect, but I'd give them a 9.5 for almost a 50 year old kit. The Blue Sparkle(or Sparkling Blue Pearl as the catalog calls it, but the factory boxes say "Blue Sp", so I am sticking with that) just gleams in the light, as does the chrome.

My new phone is 21 megapixels, so even when I crop down the photo's, they're still too big to attach.Lame
