I have the LPs (even their "Shopping Bag" album still sealed with shopping bag inside...ooooh...) but I think few of the LPs made it onto CD. Even the Christmas Album. Fun AM pop music :)

Loved that show. Can't believe it started in '70. I always thought I could kick Chris Patridge's a$$, on drums. Back then, I thought Chris would get hooked on drugs, then leave the band and live in the gutter. Then, Keith would see me play somewhere and invite me to take Chris' place. While not a family member, the gig would be a shoe-in, to hook up with Lauri Partridge. Funny, that never worked out. Aaahhh. Just to dream.....

I heard some of his Drums A go go live cuts and he sounded better in the studio to me....but I will never forget a clip I saw of him playing a session with Raquel Welch "I think" singing, and he was wailing, kicking ass, with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and a long ash. I just knew it was going to drop on one of his drum heads. Does anyone remember that clip. It was a recording for a tv show or something in the early 70's I think.

I watched an episode from season 2 last night and drooled over the near mint condition looking Ludwig standard set in blue Chris was playing. I've read where Chris could play drums a bit and he fakes it pretty good for a little kid. Danny on bass was a joke. It was as big as he was.

p.s. My life really is exciting at times. I do more than watch old Partridge Family episodes on dvd at bed time :)

Larry, Larry, Larry. It's totally ok, man. It was a great show. Tell me, was it the episode where Danny gets in trouble and out-smarts Rubin? You know, the one when Lauri got mad at Keith? And, in the end, at the 11th hour of having to perform, they all put their differences aside, come together and pull it off, flawlessly? I remember that one.

Aaahh, memories...... Don't ever apologize for watching that musically-oriented, vintage show.
