Do you mean "New Voice"?

Yes, after looking at your pics again it looks like "new voice".....so very hard to make out the script of the badges against that finish......

Also, that is a Gretsch Renown model snare, but from somewhere between 1958-1964. The lugs from the 40's are much different. Aso, if it were later 60's it would have cast hoops, the silver sealer interior is what would date it only as early as 1958. And one final point, the snare drum is a re-wrap with modern "antique white pearl". The lack of a badge and the small chip pattern of the wrap tip that off, as well as the simulated aged look of the "antique white" wrap.

I'm not so sure it's a re-wrap. It really does appear to be the original. Nothing seems out of place or disturbed on this drum. Also I found a picture on the internet of the exact same wrap except it has the badge...

Well....the reason it appears to be a re-wrap to me is that the badge grommet is the wrong type of grommet and also it also has been pryed out of the shell at some point. Also, the (dis) coloration of the wrap is too uniform to be real aged white pearl wrap. If the drum was all original, why on earth would someone remove the badge? I mean, if the drum doesn't have a paper label on the inside of the shell, there is no other makers identifying mark on the drum then...
