Were those being sold as separate pieces? I considered bidding but didn't want to risk missing a piece...although I was tempted to get the snare in my effort to get one Jazz Fest Junior in every strata wrap.

Just an update:

The 12" rack tom arrived yesterday via USPS. I was pleasantly surprised as it beat the FedEx box containing the bass drum and floor tom.

The packing was perfect! Over the years, purchasing stuff on the internet, I've offered advice to folks shipping things. This gal took it to heart. They had never shipped drums, and did an excellent job.

The larger package should show up today or tomorrow, I hope.

Definitely some looker drums. Berry beautiful (the avocado fruit is a berry).

I'd never seen this wrap before. Ringo's Jungle Camo.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

The Avocado Strata's got here Wednesday afternoon. I'm very pleased to say that they packed the bass and floor tom (and bits and pieces) with as much care as the rack. I was actually so busy Wednesday and Thursday that I didn't have a chance to get pix until last night. I DID unpack them upon arrival, of course.

This is one of those moments we live for! Is that a tear rolling down my cheek? (Well not really... Everything's in bloom out here. My allergies are driving me frikken nuts the last couple days and my eyes are watering like crazy. But that was a nice little bit of heartfelt drama, right?) :)

Without further ado...
