I had a kit with those heads once, they are good. Not sure why I buy powerstroke 3 all the time, I should try the Emads.

Jeff the Emads are wicked but I think a Remo P3 is pretty much the same thing, and coated white instead of clear. I actually prefer a coated white drum head. Just have limited funds and this Emad has been with me for awhile now.

Good to know Mitch. Ya I have found the coated heads to be much better also.

Your newly sized bass drum fits right in with the rustic clubbies. Its a really neat kit!

That's definitely how I feel about it! I'd been thinking of cutting down and stripping this BD shell for a very long time. The mahogany finish was such a bonus, fit right in as you say.

Alls I need now is a 15" or 16" Ludwig floor tom [with wrap pulled off and Mahogany outer] to complete the arsenal...

Thanks Jeff! I suppose to keep the theme going, it would have to be a 15" with center lugs, Club Date style....no rush that's for sure!
