My wife puts up with 580 (and counting) snare drums 200 of which are on 20 custom Plexi-glass shelves in the entry way to our home, another 35 in the "dining" room and the rest in cabinets in the garage. She doesn't question my purchases nor do I have to hide my purchases. She even brags about me to her friends. I do pay for this luxury in other ways though.

My wife is very supportive of my addiction, so long as it doesn't eat into our savings. So far so good!
If you had started with that statement you could have stopped writing because you would have 'said it all' right there! That's the real deal. All successful relationships are a fitty-fitty proposition, or they just don't work out over the long haul. :p
