> I thought you were thinking of selling the kit?

I tried to find out how much to ask for them, but nobody ever got back to me with feedback. Everybody asked what I paid for them, but nobody got back to me with a ballpark asking price. I simply don't know what is a fair price for them. I only want to sell them so I can buy a set of J&M's from Jerry. If anybody is interested, I'm open to offers. 1972 Allen Blaemire, 12", 13", 16", 22" in black with all Ludwig hardware/lugs/spurs, etc.

> Bingo John!

When I first got this drum, I noticed it had 1.6mm hoops on it. So, I installed them on my '79 Supra 402 to hear what it sounded like, since Ludwig used to install them back then. I just took those hoops off the Supra, and have installed them back onto the Blaemire, no splay. Plus, I dig on the sound with the 1.6mm hoops.

Ha! I'm glad it worked for you! It's a wonderful looking drum.

Me neither, I go straight, no chaser! :p

Hey Mario,

It sounds great! I'm running an Amb X on the batter, with some Puresound 30's. The 1.6mm hoops have a great feel to them.[/QUOTE]

Too many great drums to list here!
