There's a SWEET 72 Rogers (swivo) 5 pc kit online for 699 right now. It's light blue and in good condition. 22,12,13,16 AND cob Dynasonic snare! Nice nice.

There's also a really cool 60's Rogers (swivo) 4 pc kit online for 749. It's a wonderfully faded (gingeraled) silver sparkle and is in good condition. I think it's a 22,13,16 with matching wood snare (powertone?). Seriously cool looking kit.

The stuff is out there if you're looking. Good luck.

...almost forgot! There's also a wonderful NINE pc Rogers Big R (mem) kit in black online. Double 22's, four toms, two floors, and a snare. Wow. Cool kit. All for ... are you ready? 699. Unreal.

That silver sparkle Rogers kit sounds real good. You won't be disapointed with a Rogers kit! That 22" kick will, you know, kick a*&

What about Michaels kit, red onyx???

I would recommend a late 60's Super classic. You will then have, the look...the sound...and a pretty strong drum set. I have three super classics and they have held up very well!

22x14, 13x9, 16x16

I'm looking for a Super Classic (early 60's - up to 64, red, gold, champagne). Would you want to trade one of yours for a Rogers kit?

I guess the first question I would ask is what type of music will you be playing with this kit?

1958 Gretsch Kit
1966 Kent Kit
1969 Ludwig Standard Kit
1970 Rogers Power Tone Kit
1970's Ludwig Vistalite Kit
1994 Yamaha Maple Custom
2010 Yamaha Maple Custom
28 assorted snares (including some real crap)
and 1 really nice K Zildjian Istanbul

Get a Ludwig Downbeat or Club Date. I do like 24" bass drums, but not enough to haul it around for gigs...

1970 Ludwig Downbeat
1965 Ludwig Hollywood
1970 Ludwig Jazzette
