I found this set for sale on a local paper.

Listed only as "an old drum set".

But from the picture may look like a rogers or am i'm mistaking?

I'm a Ludwig aficionado but although I know Roger I really do not much about Roger.

Anyway wants to pitch in and tell me what this set is ?

And when I go and see it what should I look for ?

P.S. The bass drum Pedal looks like a "Ghost" could it be ?[Attachment: 98341]

Looks like a late 60's early 70's Fullerton era Londoner with a 22 bass, 12 and 13 mounted toms and a 16x16 floor tom in jet black pearl. Not particularly valuable, but probably a useful gig kit.

Watch for condition of bearing edges in particular. Fair amount of difficulty getting a good cut in that era. If it is missing hoops and rods, that is not helpful. Check to see if he has the spurs, because the one on the left side of the picture is missing. Check that the floor tom leg mounts aren't rotating. Look to see if the mufflers are still in place. Look for significant wrap cracks or abrasions.

Thats a 9/72 series ..@1973/75..

The Hihat std is memolock ..hence mid 70s...

The chair looks great & the cyms are most Likely older Zildijans..

I would ASAP if the $$ is under $400/ based on the pics & missing items..

Best of luck...

P.s. The shell are the same as the older 1964/70 drums..

Just mainly the hardware changed.

P.s.....Yes...I see aGhost..lol & also see a 6.5" ...10 lugger snare..mmmmm...?
