There practically obsolete here too, it's just me! Yes there is a camera on this and it records. I tried to post one up but, I don't know why but at the last minute it wouldn't allow.

Do you mean youtube wouldn't allow it? Reasons could be; length [too long], some sort of box not checked by you [licensing agreements etc], or the fact that apple is very proprietary, youtube is google, and google is not apple...or something.

I'd use any half-decent third party digital camera that captures "video". Aside from all that though, you can make youtube clips "private" so at least only those who see the link here will ever see it.

If he is trying to create a sound only file, youtube wont allow it. You have to make a slide show to go with it, then you can post it. I did this last fall for our tune from our gig and it worked but it was kind of a pain in the rear. I cant remember the details but it took some time to figure it all out, and I am pretty good with the ole PC.

Thank you!

Do you think this would be available on an apple I pad (2nd generation) - that's what I've got.

Not familiar with Ipads, I'm on an Imac and QuickTime 'comes with' the operating system. Look through your applications folder.

Too many great drums to list here!

BTW ODG, don't forget Soundcloud or Bandcamp - those sites are for posting audio with no video. My experience has been with Bandcamp and it's easy to do.

Robyn64. That does sound like a great idea if you don't mind doing that. I could do this on Friday, I suppose I could find a 'take' that 'might be passable'! Then all I would need to is take a couple of shots of the 2 drums Or something .I have only one take where I managed to get the I pad positioned where it showed me playing but it didn't sound to good so i wouldn't want to use that one,- at least not the sounfile. (although there is this 1 bit showing me . ) either way Im not fussed . Maybe i think it would be good just to show the drums..? This would give me a bit of time to ' work out how to do it myself if I wanted to do more.

No need, I have very good news for you -

Now all you need to have, or have anyone make for you, is mp3s and one still image. My favourite part is the ten second upload....!
