Robyn, I'm glad that you are so excited. New drums always make my heart swell.

Best.

I totally get the anticipation factor of new additions to the family.

I've begged outta work before when I knew an item was arriving on the truck.

thanks for all the replys and kind words guys. percisely the reason i hang around here. you guys here have made me feel way more welcome then any of the other drum forums. thanks, means alot. i love music, has been a big part of my life for all my life. like i've said b4 have had many musicians in my family on both my mom and dad's sides. i have a deep respect for all music instruments but have to be totally honest guitars (especialy Gibsons) are my favorite. hope i don't catch it for that comment, lol. i wish i could play all instruments (like my brother) or even carry a tune but i am the only one of the family who is tone deaf with no musical talent, (but i can dance)lol. so all i can really contribute to music is my love, respect and support for it. i love playing my drums (and guitars) and learning more about them from here but i will never be good enough to play in a band but thats ok, i except that, but can still have fun and fill my need and am the best roadie a band can ever have, just ask my brother. but anyway did i mention i am excited bout this new to me snare?

can't wait to get it but...most likely it will be coming in some time next week and i'm not gonna be home to recieve it. my bf will be here but i have to be with my mom next week. but all is good at least it will be here when i get home and we can do our bonding then. lol

sorry bout the book, but you guys did inspire it.

oh and no worries on the posting photos, like i said, i understand. lol.

Talent in the family is a funny thing... I got one sister that is a professional artist, and one a professional actress.. and both of them sang professionally as well.

I got a face made for radio and a voice for hog calling... but I do love it when the family gets together... they still enjoy my hog calling.

Keep the faith!!

lol, i feel ya bro, but you still got one on me...i got a face that would break even a radio and a voice that would send the hogs running away. i can't sing but that has never stopped me from singing. i too always enjoy family gatherings. have heard some of the most awesome music being produced at family reunions.
