Heres a Pic of my Mutt Corder kit, Mariosdrums sent me the red Corder snare, and I got the white shells from a guy over at DFO. The floor tom is an acrylic Fibes for the moment, which looks funny but sounds good. In case anyone is wondering, yes my bassist has a stick bass, mounted to a pearl tom mount on a Tama Titan stand, with a Faux soundboard attached for the real double bass "look"
Glad to see you rocking that snare! Those Jasper shells are really great.
Didnt someone around here have old catalog scans from Corder? I just picked up a drum from Ebay and i wonder if it was a put together drum from Corder, since they offered shells and parts, etc.. And I want to see if corder sold the silver Fibes lug gaskets. Because this drum has them, although its a keller 5 ply shell
So Ive sort of figured out the lug gasket thing on my own.. Mariosdrums sent me a Corder snare that I put back into use and will be wrapping in green sparkle to use with this corder kit.. and that snare uses the silver gaskets..
Anyway I wrapped the smallest tom last night and it came out nice. Its jammin sams JS sparkle
I have been emailing a sticker company about repopping the corder tags but havent heard back with a price .. plus, the corder tags werent the prettiest thing in the world to begin with

Here's the toms with hardware. Its amazing how nice these parts still are. No rust/pitting at all!
All finisned, besides the floortoms . they will be hanging 14 and 15". Some knuckle head sprayed the 14 with black paint INSIDE and it doesnt wanna come off easy.
Looks great! I think the original tags are cool - not many Corders drums around and they are great. Big Jasper tone. Glad to see you make that snare come alive again!
14" floor tom complete... Sounds pretty good but works BEST when paired with 12" rack as a 4 piece. The maple snare was out in the car for the photo shoot, sorry Mario(haha)
These tubs don't really say "vintage" when you see them, but they are from '85. I tracked down the original owner through an old ad I found on reverb.com.
I've got a Corder kit that I use regularly. It apparently has a very limited run shell wrapping that was available when Corder first opened in 1979. Mine's from 1980 and has a brushed brass finish. I also have a chrome Corder snare that I recently put together. I'll upload photos in the gallery later. The sizes are 16x22 kick, 7.5x8/8x10/10x12 toms, 6.5x14 snare, and a 16x16 floor tom. As of now I've got the Bonham setup going and I'm only using the 10x12 with the 16x16 and kick. The drums sound spectacular, very warm and open sounding. Those maple shells are awesome, and when tuned correctly really sing! The snare has a bunch of crack and is very dynamic. I absolutely love the kit and for sure keeping it for a very long time.
