I can't remember which forum I saw it on.But a fellow had a old Zildjian and saw the writing under the bell so he rubbed it off,THEN GOT ON THE FORUM TO ASK WHAT THE WRITING WAS ABOUT! I hope it was a joke post .V

Heavy/no stamping into the metal.....usually a pretty good sign it is Italian.....
If you take a close picture of the bell from the top, you will be abel to tell if it was rotocast. That is also a good indication of Italian production. I have a thin 15" unmarked like that. Different hammering, though, and no signature. Sounds amazing.

It looks like an Ajaha. By the way, a hand signed ink signature under the bell of a vintage cymbal does not in itself prove the cymbal to be a vintage K Zildjian! Many other vintage brands can be found with the underside of their bells hand signed with similar ink signatures. Included among these are some vintage Avedis Zildjians. The two photos attached show the badge and the signed bell undersurface of one of my vintage Avedis Zildjians - an 11 3/4" paper thin splash.
