Don't forget the Depends before the next practice.

I felt close to that when I realized I had record albums older than the middle age guy at work. And I bought them new.

Getting older sure beats the alternative.

Happy birthday! I've seen your work and you've still got it. Rock on!

Age is just a number. I know 17-year-olds who should be 60 and 60-year-olds who should be 17.

Now get some deep-dish or Italian beef or whatever else they do well in Chicago and celebrate.

I'm 63, I've already worked all the logistics out... just turn your underwear inside-out on Saturday night and you can wear them for another week! lol

Happy B-day... and you get no sympathy from me! I passed that 60 mark a few years ago.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

From slingerland

I guess the inevitable can't be avoided. Today I wake up find a B-day card on the counter before I leave for work with 60 written all over it, yesterday I get B-day cards in the mail saying Happy 60th, (what on earth can you be happy about on a 60 b day?) Every forum I'm resistered on sends me happy b day message. Why not just say happy b day, do we have to put it in neon lights?. I'm playing in a band where the other guys are 20 years younger, at practice last night, I killed it, playing like it was my last dance. I can't help but think of when the time will come when I'll have to put my sticks down, (I can't bare the thought) sorry, I guess I'll just go sit in my wheel chair now and read my AARP magazine and shut up. Violin

A thousand drummers may have died today wishing they were "still swinging" as BR used to say.

Happy B day and many more Clapping Happy2

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
