Sorry for the confusion, I should have dropped in, ..... depending on type of wrap/color..... as part of my response.

Some wraps should only have one... like the solid white, black, the "formica" type finishes as well from the 70s. The Rogers metallics from 75-84 would have had only one seam. Those wraps came in really big sheets.

it seems the seam is correct but it is ludwig white int a 68 it matches my kit i think its good any way im getting it ill post pics asap ty guys

I checked a 70's Gretsch solid white BD, and it has two seams. So does a 70's Slingerland moire. Do you know from experience that the solid colors were bought in larger sizes back then? If so I wonder which companies?

I have a 20" 1958 Slingerland bass drum. Sky Blue Pearl wrap. It has 2 seams.

Nice drum. My 58 wfl kit has 2 seams on the floor tom and the bass drum. The floor tom is only 16 inches, though thinking on it I guess my kit is kinda a rare oddball amongst all these others haha.
