I once had a 16" Zildjan from the early 70's, marked as ride/crasch. It sounded more like a large splash, very short tone, but deep, dark and extremely sexy. -borrowed my drums to my best friends son, and when he returned the drums......the cymbal was lost. -Still looking to find one again crying2-07

I know the thread states "crash" but I`m really digging the 80`s, 18" Sabian Chinese I got from mountainhick at the moment!! Also, my 80`s, 15" Sabian thin crash has an explosive sound to it...
