I just found out from the owner of Fibes, Tommy Robertson, that these drums were made in May of 2000, then were sent to Rockin Robin in Houston and are Jasper shells. They also told me Tommy would start production of Fibes drums in about a year. These are some of the best drums ever made and I highly recomend if anyone has a chance to get one, don't hesitate, get it, quick.
OK, I know these are not "vintage" drums, but you gotta give em' some lovin'. flower
Blaemire / Jenkins-Martin drums.

Good stuff JR I dig em. Interesting history Fibes has. Nice snare too.
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Why don't you show them some lovin', and hang onto them for awhile.;)BTW, that is a killer kit!
Oh yeah, I think I'll be hanging on for these for awhile, Fibes drums are not easy to find. I had been playing vintage drums for years in bigger sizes, but with these smaller drums and Jasper shells, I think I found the sound I've been looking for. They are more versatile and suit the music I'm playing much better. Now I just need to find a Fibes white logo head, thanks.
BTW, those are Paiste Twenty series 18" and 17" cymbals, I just got them a few weeks ago and they go perfect with this kit. I got a great deal on them from a local drum shop, some guy traded all his Paiste Twenty series and 2002's for Sabian cymbals. You gotta love those guys who trade in all there nice cymbals because they are tired of them or want a different sound.Kiss
That is a killer kit.
I have a Fibes 13x7 snare that I love. :)
I see you still have "the rug" Excited I dig it! BTW, very nice looking kit.
Fibes drums were some of the best sounding drums ever made. Especially those bass drums.
