My find must have been 8-10 years ago already........

Saw a tall box of "Paper" in the shop,(which I used to pass by at antique shops),and thought......what the heck?

I'll check it out........

Lucky I did!

Yes Blair

You never know what you'll find in some of these shops. It's half the fun of all this Vintage/Antique stuff........the potential for a nice surprise.

I went back to the shop today and this is what I picked up. I also picked up two Sandy Nelson TEAN BEAT 45's .....issued on different labels = a total of $5 for the 45's and $60 for the mags.

THE MAGAZINES are left to right from the top:

1937, 42, 40 bottom row l-r 38,40 and 41

The Downbeat Feb 1980 - not old but looks like some good articles in there.

THE HORN. The antique/junk garage called Trader Jakes - where I picked up my Ludwig 16" WMP Spring of 65 badge (Keystone serial #) just before Christmas is where the HORN came from today. It looked too cool to pass up - I don't even know what it is ....except it's brass.....$10.

I also went into the other (there are only two in town) secondhand record shop and got just about all the rest of the Sandy Nelson LP's collection I was wanting to buy. All this in the space of two days - not quite an hour and two blocks from one store to another.

I wonder if there would be a way to scan all of those into PDF doc files. So we can read em :)

It's a lot of scanning...but I'll look into it...for at least the Gladstone mag of Aug 38.
