Got the Gig!!!! Last viewed: 15 minutes ago

For those of you who have watched my agonising journey for a band I can get along with, it has finally paid off!!!

Between a great keyboardist, a cute and talented front lady, a solid grooving bass player and a guitar player with solid and tasty licks, we have something special. I just have to slow down a little (as I am a DRIVER), but I will find the groove and feel. After all, it's a BLUES band I am in.

Thanks to all of you who had encouraged me!!!

Yeah- I'm THAT guy!!!

boom boom boom pa congtrats keep it lowdown, back up the base player and you'll be there ,match your base pedal to his timing good luck

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Thank you!!! My last audition was such a train wreck. This one was soooooo much better!!! I just have to remember to drive a GROOVE rather than drive it too fast. Too fast gets you a ticket!!!

Thanks for the nice words.

Yeah- the bass player is a pretty easy guy to lock in with. I may even invest in a Tama Rhythm Watch just to keep us straight.
