Greatest Beatles Performance of All Time ... - October 24th 1963 Last viewed: 11 minutes ago

... and it's not the Ed Sullivan performance.

I found this from a posting on the Premier FB group. Based on the top picture in the article, Ringo is playing his Mahogany Duroplastic kit and the matching 4" Royal Ace snare.

It's a great live recording without the screaming fans drowning out the actual music. For 1963, this is an excellent recording. Almost unheard of for this time.

For those that question Ringo's drumming, please pay attention. I think he's spot on with his fills and keeping time. He's not overpowering and knows what fits with the other parts of each song.

Enjoy,

-Tim

I didn`t click the link yet. Don`t get mad at me for having a different opinion.

When the fans are screaming and jumping and drowning out your show,..in the entertainment business, this means you are at your best. That`s what it`s all about...them. Nothing sucks more than doing a show for a bunch of people with something else on their mind.

Now I`ll check out that link !i

I watched the link. Great stuff. To my ear, with the exception of Twist and Shout,...Paul should be singing alone except for the choruses.

My opinions are just that,...mine.

I loved it and never heard those before. Great stuff and thanks for sharing it with us.
