So, what did you think of the half time show? first off how they get that stage up in minues is mind boggling, second Bruno Mars, did put ona a great show, even though I don't care for his style of music. He started with a short drum solo, on a custom DW kit, the kid can dance to. I wonder what hot chilly peppers got paid for one song? Millions I expect. I heard the drummer for them is one of the top ten highest paid drummer in the world, they could have at least worn shirts for the gig.LOL......... could not figure what what drum set he was playing, had stickers all over it. LOL

I liked the show. I thought it was pretty good, one of the better ones they've had in the past few years.

I liked the drums too, thought they was pretty cool and sounded good too. The thought of them drums being used to benefit a very good organization that does so much for our special children make it all worth the while for me.

Chad, is a pearl endorser, But I thought the half time show was boring as soggy cornflakes, modern Pop music doesn't do it for me, I have seen the peppers twice great band.

I'm sure to catch "heck" for this, but IMO football half-time shows should be marching bands or DBCs... so it' doesn't matter who or what, it don't cut it for me!

The NFL drum set was very cool. I did not know Bruno Mars was a drummer. Bit then I dont know squat about him, not my kind of music really, although some of it was not bad. Chilli Peppers did not do much for me. Over all it was good. Loved the year when Tom Petty did the gig.

You know Bill...you actually got a point there, never really gave it a thought but you are right, halftime and marching bands go together.

Ditto...Guess I'm just stuck in the 60's...but I like it there. I was impressed when Bruno danced like James Brown!

I liked Bruno's old school feel. Horns section dancing along. Very much an entertainer in the old style, new music. Red Hot Chili Peppers didn't do it for me either, but it didn't hurt the show. Lot's of energy.
