$400.00 would be a great deal as long as it's a wfl or ludwig kit, and no major Issues with it!

I've seen and played them bafore and they are in great shape for their age. If I recall correctly they have ther keystone badges...

I brought the kit home with me tonight. It needs some TLC but is in VERY good condition for its age. The wrap is damn near flawless but the lugs and hardware are tarnished. No rust but very dull. Any suggestions how to bring the luster back besides a tear-down and polishing wheel?

It still has the original Zildjian Hi-Hat and 22" ride which sounds great!

I did buy new heads (...Ouch) and I did splurge and bought 2 new Ludwig boom stands.

Nice score for 400.00.What do the badges say Ludwig or W.F.L. What are the insides painted or clear.. nickel parts not chrome would date the set from 1965 back..by the way under the mounted tom you are missing a L-arm cymbal mount...Mikey

It has the "WFL" badges. No paint on the interior of the shells which was what I was hoping for. There is also another mount on the right side of the bass drum too.

Yeah I have a carpet for it. The pic was taken at 11pm last night when we got back home and we just wanted to set it up and take it for a little cruise. Couldn't resist. The back hoop is trashed anyway, but I beleive I have another.
