Here are two pictures of a couple of MIJ snare drums I have with this same extra ply behind the strainer. It's simply there to reinforce the thin shell. You usually find this on the thin-shell drums with re-rings, but not always.-Mark

Ah, thanks Mark. I've actually never owned a wood shell MIJ snare, only ever steel, so I'd not come across it before. Makes perfect sense though, sometimes those shells can be pretty thin and bendy.

Hey Vater, here ya go. Let me know if you need measurements.

Thank you! That is indeed the same hole patten on my Lyra snare. I measured mine and the top holes are an inch apart, and the larger bottom hole is 1.5" from each of the top holes.

Now I just need to locate an identical strainer to yours.

Damn, Looks like I need some wing bolts...

I need a wing-bolt for the foot of the bass drum. I tried measuring the threads, and the closest match is .9mm pitch.. which is very odd-ball. Anyone have one, or know where I can get one?

I also need a wing-bolt for my Premiere snare stand. Again, I tried measuring the threads and had no match on both my imperial and metric thread measuring thingamabob. Where could I get one of these?

I have a Pro Pedal in working condition. Priority mail in a medium box would just about equal it's value. You pay postage, it's yours. Message me if interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I made a mistake - I don't need the wing-bolt for the bass drum pedal, I need it for the bass drum's foot!
