When I was about 13 I bought this Ludwig from my neighbor (mowed his lawn 10 times as payment).
A couple people who have seen the kit recently said it's pretty rare and yesterday during Easter dinner my step dad told me that the neighbor who sold the kit to me said it was Don Brewer's (Grand Funk Railroad's) former set.
This prompted me to (skeptically) look into it a bit more and I've seen some you tube clips of him playing a kit that looks similar but the video quality is too poor to confirm.
The mounted tom still has this sticker (the previous owner may have put it on though), so it might be a good way to identify it.
The kit is not in great shape but it's mainly just dirty. I have all the original hardware including kick pedal rims, and even the old zildjians it came with .
I don't know much about vintage drums, so I'd like some help identifying the kit and determining a rough value, and perhaps if it was played by Don Brewer.
Any help or resources would be much appreciated!
