Well, yeah normally it would, but for a hundred bucks...
Like the guy said, those would make a great practice kit, or a kit to flip or donate. I would think you could double your money with a quick flip if the condition is okay.
Shoot, walk in there with four $20.00 bills and see what they do.

Well that sign does say 100 or best offer.

Only in the sense that these are not American Drums thus this thread is in the wrong forum, and
These are not Vintage so this is the wrong web site entirely.
If we were sticking to the purpose of this particular web site.
Other than that, no concern. Oh, and mapex are nice enough but the stock heads aren't nice.

Yes I realize these are not vintage but I belong to one forum only, this one. But I was not sure if they were American made so I posted them here. After looking close I did see the MIT on the badge. It all happened so fast, I was at the sharpening shop, saw the drums, took the pic with my phone, stopped for a few beers, then made this thread. So sorry if I posted the wrong info in the wrong area. Tommy go ahead and delet it if you want.
Thank you!

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Incidentally and for thems that weren't aware, Mapex stuff is made in the same factory where they're making most of the Sonor stuff too.
Jus' sharin'.
Due to foundry and plateing laws in Germany,...this is correct. The ovens are still at Sonor Germany !i

Well, I bought them. I figure I will take them down to my brother-in laws building and leave them there for anyone to play. He is a guitar player and I have been wanting to jam with him. I was not real excited about taking one of my vintage kits down there so this will be a good one for that. Plus they would be a good canidate for a re-finish or even a venner job. I did not look very close at them, I dont know how banged up they are. And Im sure I can always get my 100 bucks back. He has cymbals with stands for another 100, I will check into that as well. Thanks for the help, sorry again for posting non vintage drums in the wrong place.
