yeah, Blair is one of our to go guys for parts, he just posted on your thread, can you post a pic of the inside of the bass drum and show us the holes on the inside? but the price Blair quoted is the going rate for the entire assembly.

the mounting bracket for the spurs on it now is a 4 hole spur bracket and are mounted wrong as well.

odds are they used the 2 original holes for the original spurs, then drilled for the other 2 holes needed to mount it flush with the shell.

NEW INFO FOR PIC BELOW...

ahh...that just sucks. there's extra holes over the original holes PLUS the 2 holes drilled for the mount. the original spurs only had 2 screw holes plus the hole for the spur to go thru the shell.

if you look closely on the inside, there's a outline of the interior metal plate that comes with the 1/2 spurs it originally had on it. i'm all out of brackets but i have new spurs. however blair might have a vintage set if you wanna go that route which would be nice.

so far it doesn't look like you would have to put in alot of money to clean it up and selling it. i'd say its worth the time to get original parts. guess it depends on how much you have in it.

chris, I would just try to sale it as is, then if it doesn't move or you get some guff over it then go the original equipment route, this is a killer rock kit you have on your hands.

Im considering all this.... thank you all.

If its not a "rocker" than what type is it? any guesses is great but this has already been enlightening.

Thanks for that..........

After 1975,I don't know too much about Luddies..........

I think the 5/16" would look cooler though........maybe resonate more and be more in keeping with the Bonham Jr. kit he has.

And,as stated by me already,I don't like the larger, Mondo Bondo spurs.......
